Luminate and Erskine: Unforgotten Forces Artists in Residence

Luminate have recently appointed artists Gill White and James Winnett for a 3 year part time residency in Erskine Care Homes as part of Unforgotten Forces.

Our artists will lead a programme of creative work across the Erskine community that explores the interests and experience of veterans and their families and the landscape and history of the Erskine Home. They will work across homes in Bishopton, Glasgow and Edinburgh to develop a range of work made in collaboration with residents, staff, families and other visitors.

Beginning with a series of mini projects and exhibitions- Art Adventures- participants will explore and share various hands on art techniques. The series will begin with Art Adventures in Nature and our artists have set up a studio base or ‘creative hub’ on site in one of the garden huts at Erskine Park Home.

Gill White is a digital creative, writer, director and producer of design and film led interactive experiences, based in Edinburgh and Cumbria.
